Ice Skating Lesson

St. Albans Recreation Public Skating! Bring your friends and family - join the fun and get some great exercise! Public Skating is from 12:15 to 1:45 pm on various Sundays through February 5, 2017



Fee is $5 per adult, and $3 per child for St. Albans Residents &



$6 per adult and $4 per child for non-residents.



Fee is collected at the door.   Bring the whole family!

Schedule is as follows - there is NOT public skating every Sunday - only those listed below.

St. Albans Recreation Public Skating
  • Helmets are suggested

Public Skating Rules - Please be sure anyone attending is aware of rules.
  • You may NOT carry a child while skating.
  • Crates are to be used in the designated area only.
  • Do NOT give rides or push others on crates. Crates are for beginner skaters only.
  • Change skates on rubber matted area only.
  • All doors on the boards must be closed. No one is allowed in the penalty boxes.
  • Playing tag, racing, throwing objects (and snow) is NOT allowed.
  • Respect all other skaters present.
  • No one is allowed on the ice surface while the Zamboni is running.
  • Foul language and excessive horseplay may result in immediate ejection.
  • No cell phone or personal music items may be used ON the ice. Please step off the ice to use them.
  • No one without skates is allowed on the ice. The ONLY exception is an ADULT who is helping a TODDLER or PRESCHOOLER to skate, while he or she is using a crate in the designated area.
  • Please refer any questions to the on ice monitor.
