Nature Camp

Nature In Your Back Yard!

Nature Camp is not meant to be a summer school class, but a chance for kids to discover nature all around them. It is intended to help kids observe and notice all that is living around us, even in the smallest green spaces.

We will be looking for the designs found in nature ~ from leaves, bark, flowers and cones. We will work on identifying the living things that are all around us, including trees, plants and some creepy crawlies. We will take a peek into insect and animal habitats ~ all the places that are called home by the creatures that live right in our backyard. We will also explore the differences that make plants and animals unique and successful.

Instructor: Kim Woodworth

Nature Camp
  • Camp will meet each day at the St. Albans City Pool House and then head out on our adventures.
  • Make sure Campers wear good footwear for walking and being in the brush.
  • Each Camper should bring water and a snack.
  • Dress for the weather ~ Thunder & Lightning will keep us inside, but we'll go out in a drizzle :)
