Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides - 2023!

It's lovely weather for a sleigh ride together with you...
We're delighted to offer horse drawn wagon/sleigh rides on the beautiful backfields at Hard'ack. The sleigh is a rustic box sleigh with hay bale seating. Each ride is about 20 minutes long, includes a blanket, Hot Cocoa, a little holiday magic and will take you through beautiful Vermont Scenery. A perfect way to celebrate the winter holiday season with family, friends and out of town guests! Whether it's a sleigh or wagon ride will depend upon the conditions and is at the sole discretion of the driver. Either will be a delight. Bundle up for the season and bring a blanket.  When you arrive at Hard'ack, check in with staff at the Greg Brown Lodge. The lodge will be open with a fire in the fireplace, hot cocoa for all and a fire on the patio. Sleighs leave about every 30 minutes.  

How do you reserve?  Call the the office to reserve your specific time and make payment at one of these numbers 802-524-1971, 802-524-1559, or 802-752-2165.  

In the event that field and or trail conditions are unsafe for the horses, the driver may alter course of ride so that ride may take place on streets around Hard'ack.  That decision is made the day of the ride.  In extreme conditions, the ride could be cancelled and all participants would be refunded.  Our primary concern is safety of the participants and horses :) 

Prices
  • Private sleigh ride for 12 people $139 residents, $179 non-residents.
  • If you're willing to sit really close you can squeeze in a few more :)
  • Kids age 2 and under (sitting on a lap) free
  • Single Seats $9 per person for residents, $12 non residents.
